The mines of Parzán in the Valle de Barrosa are a piece of mining history in the Pyrenees. Lead containing silver was mined here from 1912 to 1928. The ruins of the old cable car can still be seen today.

After parking the car, we walked along a pleasantly uphill path past the ruins of a lead and silver mine. The remains are reminiscent of earlier times when this branch of the economy was still booming.
