The steep shore section Hohes Ufer runs between the southern outskirts of Ahrenshoop until just before the pier of Wustrow. The Hohe Ufer is a very precipitous, rugged coastline broken off by coasts. About halfway there is a small hill with a bench. This is the Bakelberg, from where you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Baltic Sea and the Saaler Bodden.
