The medieval, proud city of King Krešimir "Sibenik" is next to Zadar one of the largest cities in the north of the region Dalmatia. It offers many museums, galleries and historical attractions, such as The St. Anna Fortress, which is enthroned above Sibenik, is also known by the locals as the Mihovil Fortress.

The center extends around the well-protected harbor. Roughly subdivided Sibenik in the western part with its narrow, narrow streets and the newer district in the north and southeast of the city. There are also the most cottages in Sibenik.

In the old town center of Sibenik you will find numerous churches, monasteries and palaces - the magical heritage of a thousand years of significant history. One of these historic buildings is the Cathedral of Sts. Jakobs, the 100-year construction period, is proof of how important faith was and is for the inhabitants of Sibenik.

Many important artists, scientists and writers were represented in Sibenik and made the city a vibrant cultural center. A glimpse of this period can be found in the monastery of Sibenik, where more than 150 incunabulums and important scrolls are exhibited.

But there is also the unique location of Sibenik, along the river Krka. Only through a narrow strait is Sibenik connected to the sea. Visually, one then gets the impression that only a larger lake is located in front of Sibenik. However, if you drive by boat through the narrow mouth into the open sea, you will discover a variety of beautiful islands such. B. the island Zlarin, Obonjan, Zirje, Koprije and many more.
