About Markus

A technical, steep, and rocky trail with switchbacks.

The first section is somewhat hilly before a steep, switchback climb leads to the summit. From there, you have a stunning view of the Sierra Nevada and Granada.

The trail begins steeply and unpaved. Braking is difficult, and the switchbacks are tricky

Greg Minnaar's TestTrack: This mostly very flowy trail leads down towards town, always following the streambed. At the starting point, you can enjoy the view of the Sierra Nevada. On the trail, however, you have to concentrate on the hidden features such as jumps, hip jumps, and rocky steps. A drop prepares

This is a circular route, but with 1900m of elevation gain and almost 50km. The starting point is the reservoir!

Long descent with climbs and double tracks.

Starting from the summit of Sierra de Lújar, this descent has the most singletrack sections. However, the middle section also features many sections of wide paths or double tracks.

The descent begins with a few climbs to reach the wide and flat areas of the west

Hazal de Senor: Long descent with many switchbacks.

With a great view of the Embalse de Rules reservoir, the trail begins rocky and narrow. However, you can play around with your line a bit to find a smooth line over the many rocks and take the turns from a good position. After passing a ruin, the trail

Person: Rocky and varied enduro trail.

The start is a little hard to find, but after a few meters it's easy to spot. The trail begins with a flat section over many rocks. Some riding skills are required here to maintain momentum. Then it steepens to the right and leads through tight switchbacks before

Canterra: After a short climb with a few switchbacks, the fast descent begins, steep and crisscrossed with sandy corners. Steep and flatter sections alternate. The forest floor is sandy with occasional stones and roots. With a bit of moisture, the surface offers good grip. The path is narrow in places

Las Antennas: A mix of tight turns, loose scree, and some large steps make this trail quite challenging. While bushes obstruct the view of the rocky trail in the upper section, the lower section requires navigating deep ruts carved out by rain. The loose surface rarely alternates with compact sections

The Los Almendrales area is a fantastic destination for enduro bikers. Many amazing trails with efficient climbs are packed into a small area.

The trails are incredibly fun and have a similar riding style. While not particularly technically demanding, those who ride fast will quickly find themselves challenged
