In addition to many ponds and birds, the area also features a brick factory and even a former Roman Castellum .... after all, this was the most northern border of the Roman Empire. It is an area where you can cycle beautifully, but speed does not belong here. It is an area busy with walkers and quiet touring cyclists, for speed you better stay on the nearby dike.
