In the high season, it's quite a spectacle at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. when the bridge opens for boats. In the past, you could jump from the bridge into the canal, but that's now forbidden.

Due to work on the Osor sewage system, the canal is permanently closed to small boats (May 25), as a workboat is moored on both sides of the canal on the Nerezine side. Opening at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for sailors and larger boats is in operation.
