The Liebenwalde local history museum in the former city prison is hidden by high prison walls right behind the town hall. In the cells you will find information on shipping, especially on the Finow Canal, on the history of the town of Liebenwalde and its districts, on the history of churches, schools, fire brigades and clubs, on the history of crafts and trades and on the "Heidekrautbahn".
