Góra Rzepka Nature Reserve

Jędrzejowska / Φ: 50 ° 47 '54.400 "Δ: 20 ° 26' 55.100" Object description:The Rzepka Mountain Reserve covers the Rzepka and Beyliny Mountains massif and the wall of the Korzecko quarry. The oldest traces of related ore mining are protected here
with lead and silver. These traces are visible in the form of oval pits. On the other hand, dolomites and Devonian limestones were mined in the quarry. At present, calcite veins and karst processes can be observed in the wall of the quarry. At the bottom of the quarry, the European Center for Geological Education of the University of Warsaw was established in 2015.Among the protected flora, we can distinguish the stalkless plant.The yellow hiking trail, bicycle trails, the ŚSA-G educational trail and the PTTK Świętokrzyski Horse Trail run through this reserve or in its vicinity.
