The Piekło Cave under Skiby is 57 meters long. Where does this name come from? Apparently the locals gave it the name "Piekło" because devils were supposed to fly out of its interior. The cave has sculptures of devils made by Krzysztof Jasiński.

Basic data about the natural monument: Year of creation: 1954 Location/GPS coordinates: Skiby/Φ:50° 49' 51.600"Δ:20° 25' 56.400" Object description: The Piekło Cave is a typical form of underground karst that formed along joint cracks. The cave developed in Devonian limestones. Inside, you can observe calcite glazes and small stalactites. It probably formed in the Pleistocene. Currently, it is inhabited by bats. Traces of prospecting and mining of ores (lead and silver) are visible inside the cave and around it. Legends are associated with the Piekło Cave, e.g. About the devils from the Skibskie Piekło. The Piekło Cave is surrounded by a blue hiking trail named after E. Padechowicza, the ŚSA-G educational trail, and in the vicinity the black Rocks and Caves bicycle trail.
