The museum was founded by Mr. Brissard and is set up with its large collection of uniforms, weapons and large guns.
Part of the museum are remains of the Mulberry A harbour, which was destroyed during a prolonged storm between 19 and 23 June 1944. These remains can be viewed as you drive to the beach at Vierville. These remains are then on the left.
