Flowing through the rolling hills of South Limburg is the Geul, one of the most charming rivers in the Netherlands. The water gently ripples over boulders and roots, winds past meadows and old farmhouses, and reflects the light of every passing cloud. The Geul is always in motion, always changing, and forms the backbone of the landscape between Meerssen, Valkenburg, and Gulpen.
