The mystical Ravensbos appeals to the imagination. This forest has height differences of up to 50 meters, so there will definitely be some climbing. From the slope you look out over two quiet forest lakes. At the bottom, the Strabeek meanders along which an idyllic walking path runs.

The forest is flanked by large fields where remains of Roman villas have been found. The former monastery next to the forest and a few 'lonely' farms help you imagine what it was like here some two thousand years ago. Now, peace reigns in the Ravensbos, an oasis for birds, squirrels and hikers.
