1508 First documented mention of the town of Allesitz
1655 On May 15th, a devastating fire destroyed the village and the church. Until the church was rebuilt in a brick framework with a tower, the community in need of consolation gathered in Havelberg Cathedral.
1874 On July 2nd, the foundation stone was laid for a neo-Gothic hall church with an apse made of brick masonry (consecrated the following year). The tower has a height of 30 meters. Saying above the triumphal arch: “Whatever you do, whether in word or in deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:17)
1945 In April the tower is blown up to protect the village from artillery fire. The tower falls onto the nave and causes the roof to collapse. In the following years the nave was restored and the tower was given an emergency roof.
