Venice

Venice is beautiful, but not for your bike. Under no circumstances should it go into the old town. A fine is payable for this. So leave your bikes at the train station or in Mestre.

A bike tour over the Lido and the island of Pelestrina to Venice's little sister, the island of Chioggia, is a lot of fun. The car ferry takes you to the Lido. The ferries from Lido to Pellestrina and Chioggia also take bicycles with them.

After a few stages we finally reached Venice. Beautiful! 🤩 It's almost impossible to do more!!! 👍

Pushing yourself is forbidden in the old town! The ferry from the train station to Lido can be used without any problems, but not the ferry to St. Mark's Square! There are good lockable parking spaces at the train station so that you can go to Venice by bike and then walk to the hotel.
