Stob Dearg rises like a chimney from the Buachaille Etive Mòr ('Big Shepherd of Etive') massif. Its striking northeast face above the valley head of Glen Coe and Rannoch Moor is Scotland's most photographed mountain. And at 1021 m, the Stob Dearg is one of the Munros.
