If bagging both Munros on the mountain, then you will cross this peak, which has fantastic views in both directions. Nothing difficult to ascend here, however in winter conditions crampons may be required and the slope can feel steep in places.

Head out and back to the second summit on the Buachaille to extend your route.

It can also optionally be the middle of 3 summits if you want an extra long day.

The views down into Geln Etive are incredible

Stob na Doire may not be a Munro but it is a Munro Top, a Hump and High Hill. It feels like a significant top and in other ridges this would be a Munro. In any case it is a good viewpoint especially for Glen Etive. Most people will climb it anyway on their traverse of the ridge.
