The conference ship "aquaforum" (in the immediate vicinity of the floating house autartec) is based on a private initiative and was created in close cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute. It is a solar-powered conference ship that allows seminars and meetings to be held directly on the water. The trimaran has a floor space of 16.5 x 7 meters and offers space for 30 people with full seating. The 40-ton ship is equipped with two 25-kW electric motors that can reach ten kilometers per hour. The batteries can be connected to the autartec and thus serve as an extended energy store for cold days with little sunshine.
