Plettenberg Art Trail

You can admire the Plettenberg Art Trail along the old railway line on the Hestenberg. Along the trail, you'll find 14 reproductions of works by former scholarship holders of the Werkstatt Plettenberg—a support association for young visual artists in Plettenberg. Each year, the Werkstatt awards a scholarship to graduates, primarily from German art schools, and regularly holds exhibitions in the town hall's council chamber, the Sparkasse gallery, and the Heimathaus, the municipal museum. The reproductions along the art trail are a selection of various works created in Plettenberg over the years as part of the scholarships awarded. The diversity of the art is evident in the various styles and motifs.
