A remarkable building is the stellar vault of the church founded by Charles IV in a picturesque corner above the Nusle valley just opposite the Vyšehrad fortress. The vault encloses a space that is 24 meters in diameter, the vault is only 20 centimeters thick and rests on walls no more than one meter thick. Other features of the church are the copy of the Holy Stairs and the Bethlehem Cave with the Holy Family. This is the oldest nativity scene in Prague churches.
