It has belonged to the Schürger family since the end of the 19th century, and they still own it today. The Schürgermühle supplied farmers in Rechtenbach, Wombach, Neuendorf, Nantenbach, Wiesenfeld and Rohrbach. The mill was shut down in 1970 and is now used as a residential building.
