"The Lahn marble bridge from Camberg-OberseltersThe Emsbach Bridge in Oberselters was probably built by the Electorate of Trier and was part of the road from Frankfurt to Koblenz. This road was important for the principality because it connected the Niederselterns fountain to the transport network and thus burdened the electorate with a large proportion of its income. Bridge pillars and flow dividers of the bridge as well as the outer parts of the arches and parapets are made of Lahn marble. The Lahn marble used is a polishable Devonian limestone. […]
In 2015, the bridge was extensively renovated, with the piers and arches remaining unchanged. A concrete slab bears the load of the motor vehicles. The historic parapet blocks were placed on top of this. […] A special feature of this bridge are the fossils that are visible on some components of the bridge."Source: geopark-wlt.de/lahnmarmorbruecke (08/25/2022)

According to Klaus Kraft, the Lahn marble was formed in the Devonian period 380 million years ago - actually a polishable limestone in which many fossils can be enclosed
