When the gorse is in bloom, depending on the weather, from the end of May to mid-June, absolutely worth seeing. The broom forms extensive bushes on the areas of the former military training area that have not been mown or grazed for a long time, and their bright yellow characterizes the landscape in early summer.

Hiking
The Dreiborn plateau is really a highlight in every season. In clear weather you have a great view. For me, however, the time when the gorse blossoms is the most beautiful time there, when the countless golden yellow flowering bushes line the path.
