The Adenbachtor (also called "Winzertor" or "Marientor") is the northern of the four Stadtore Ahrweiler. It has a total height of 15 meters. The eponym for the Adenbachtor is a small stream that flows into the former moat of the city fortification near the gate.
Next to the Adenbachtor there is a parking lot, which serves many hiking as a starting point for hikes in and around Ahrweiler. Thus, the Adenbachtor for many is also the gateway to the vineyards.
