Camping Park Eisenach at Altenberger Lake

The campsite is located about 8 km from Eisenach and is ideal as a starting point for many attractions, in and around Eisenach. 3.6. Km away is the rest area Hohe Sonne and the entrance to the dragon canyon, also the way to the beginning of the Rennsteig in Hörschel is not far away. The Wartburg on hiking trails is about 12 km away. etc .. At this campsite there is no Wi-Fi and Internet access via hotspot or Internet Stick (USB) is almost impossible. The restaurant of the campsite has a good menu and the food is tasty. However, they close at 20:00.
Bread service is very good, you can order the bread roll and number either at the front desk or on the kiosk belonging to the place the evening before and pick up in the morning from half past seven. At the kiosk there is everything you need to live this way. The staff is very nice and the sanitary facilities clean and tidy.
I really enjoyed the week there. The price for a person with a large tent, bike and electricity, however, with 16.00 € per day but a bit high. But it's worth it.
