Built following the architectural canons of local Romanesque churches, it was later characterized by Gothic characteristics in the fourteenth century. It is known for being one of the most ancient and artistically significant religious buildings in the city and of "great importance for Christian archeology".

The Church of Santi Vincenzo e Anastasio is a Roman Catholic church in Ascoli Piceno. It is located in Piazza Ventidio Basso, the hub of medieval commercial activity. It was built to the architectural specifications of the local Romanesque churches and later added Gothic features in the 14th century. It is considered one of the oldest and artistically most important religious buildings in the city and is of "great importance for Christian archaeology". Dedicated to Saints Vincent de Valencia and Anastasius the Persian, it belongs to the territorial jurisdiction of the Parish Church of San Pietro Martire.

Its architectural features distinguish it from any other sacred building in Ascoli, since the characteristic square design of the facade corresponds to the style of the Cathedral of Assisi, the Church of San Pietro di Spoleto and the Church of Santa Giusta fuori le mura of Bazzano.

It has been included in the list of Italian national monuments since 1902.
