Since Costa Calma was built only around 1970, there is no center. The promenade runs in the middle of the village. Surrounded by 2 major main roads. At the front of the roundabout is the "bus station", almost a central stop.

Especially because such a green oasis on Fuerteventura outside of hotels and apartments is rather rare. The main street leads through the middle of this palm forest and thus keeps a lot of noise away from the rest of the village. The forest divides the place in half. On some street signs Costa Calma is also described under the old name "Cañada del Río".
