Created in 2001 by the painters Giuseppe Brombin and Floreano Franzil, the mural dedicated to Italian cycling is a work created thanks to the contribution of the Province of Udine, located on the road from Bordano to Interneppo. The mural depicts a group of riders about to tackle the climb, depicted in real proportions. At the head of the group is Bottecchia, followed by Girardengo, Guerra, Binda, Bartali, Coppi, Magni, Nencini, Adorni, Gimondi, Moser and finally Pantani. The cyclists are preceded by Duilio Chiaradia, Rai's first sports cameraman, engaged in filming the race and followed by the depiction of Toni Lot to close the mural, in homage to his singular idea, which became reality.

In October 2021, its renovation was inaugurated, which lasted 45 days and was entrusted to the master Paolo Mattiussi.
