The municipality of DETERN - with its 2,700 inhabitants - turned to tourism at an early stage. Concepts for sustainable tourism in Jümme were already being developed in the 1970s, and in the old market town of Detern, in particular, a high-quality tourist offer was created. In this state-approved resort, there are numerous accommodations in the holiday home area, on the campsite, in the numerous holiday apartments and guesthouses or on the farm.
