Linking the Cairngorm Mountain ski centre with the Lairig Ghru the Chalamain Gap is a high and rocky pass.
It’s used on the Cairngorm 4000’s route and also by runners and walkers to access the Lairig Ghru and the western Munros from the high car park at the Cairngorm Mountain Centre.
