At this location, an ancient boundary marker attracts attention.
The Looypaal is the meeting point of the municipal boundaries of Beerse, Turnhout and Vosselaar. The boundary marker is also called Vossepaal.
The letter B was chiseled on this age-old boundary marker in the direction of Beerse, a T in the direction of Turnhout and a graceful fox tail on the side of Vosselaar. A fine piece of craftsmanship that is worth taking a look at.
The pole is 30 meters above sea level, which makes it the highest point in Vosselaar after the Rabbit Mountain.
