    Hiking

The Offa's Dyke trail is a classic UK long distance walking route, roughly following the Welsh-English border.

The route itself is what remains of some major earthworks as commissioned by King Offa of Mercia, in the 8th century. Why it was built is still a little debated, but, we do know that the trails that follow it, and the views they provide can be fantastic-just like this spot.

    Hiking

Fabulous hike if you like a challenge, adventure and livestock. Some of the footpaths and styles are overgrown and need repairing, but they are there. This hike is only a loop from Cilcain, I’m afraid I left the navigation on in the car afterwards.🤦‍♂️
