The Via Augusta was the longest Roman road in Hispania at around 1,500 km and ran as an extension of the Via Domitia from Rome from the Pyrenees along the Mediterranean Sea to today's Cádiz. It formed the main axis of the Roman road network in Spain (Wikipedia).
