The Couesnon is a small river which flows into the ocean at the level of Mont-Saint Michel. The Véloscénie runs along this river for a few kilometers before reaching the famous islet. This last stage of the cycle route offers magnificent views of the Mont-Saint-Michel abbey.

Beauvoir on the right bank of Couesnon offers a good opportunity for a final rest on the way to Mont-Saint-Michel. Also worth a detour is the village center around the small parish church.
