The winged stone - the granite-abstracted form of the winged fruit of the maple stands directly on the banks of the Atmühlsee in the flat landscape between Schlungenhof and the lake center Muhr. The towering sculpture can be used by the sailors as a point of reference. The maple fruit, which is often called "Nasenzwicker" and clamps as a natural toy on the nose, has a pair of wings.
