The only way without traversing the glacier leads from Linthal Tierfed via Hintersand - Obersand to the Planurahütte.
Long, rocky climb in the high mountains, choose your gear accordingly. From 2500 m above sea level snowfields to be crossed throughout the summer. Exposed areas are provided with chains.
Plan the tour at home, study the national map and the weather forecast. The information about the times is pure marching times. These can vary greatly depending on personal fitness.
