Climbing from Hay-on-Wye this is an ascent to be savoured. The panoramic views from the top are worth the effort. It's steep in places on the first half of the climb but the top half levels out with occasional ramps. There are plenty of places to stop and enjoy the view and take a few photos. Just make sure that you watch out for the sheep on the descent!
