Hiking
From 1232 onwards, the building was first built as a late Romanesque basilica,
later as a Gothic hall church dedicated to the Virgin Mary, i.e. the "dear lady".
The current tower dates back to this first basilica, but has constantly changed its appearance over the centuries.

Among the impressive features inside is the imposing tomb of the Baronial von Bodenhausen family.
I found the church open through the beautiful south portal.
