A neat place is the small community of Pinnow in the south-east of the state capital Schwerin. Idyllically located on the lake of the same name and at the foot of the Petersberg. Hiking trails crisscross the landscape and nature reserves in the vicinity.
A rather inconspicuous sign at the end of the town shows the way to the airfield. You can get there via a sandy path and after a few hundred meters the airfield opens up on the right-hand side. An imposing grassy area of approx. 50 hectares is the home of the association.
For more than six decades, like-minded people have been meeting here to pursue their passion. Many generations of aviators were trained. people came and went. Times have changed and many a storm has come and gone.
What connects us is the love of flying and what keeps us are the roots that we have struck here in this beautiful place. You are very welcome here and take a look around.
