A pretty steep climb when coming from Borgholzhausen! But worth it, if only for the enormous relaxing chairs near the entrance of the woords at the summit, from which you can enjoy the view across the town below.I was here in August, when the corn alongside the trail had grown pretty tall. I think the view is better when the corn is still very short or not present at all.

In January the rape is definitely not there and the view is of course better. But the steep climb remains. 🤭

The benches are beautifully placed under a maple tree (I think it was) and offer a wonderful view. A perfect place for a break and a small snack, especially on longer tours.
