The former town hall of the municipality of Mönchengladbach-Land was built in 1912-1914. The building, which has a T-shaped floor plan, is given the shape of a three-wing complex by the mayor's house connected to the east. The two-storey building is covered by a steeply sloping slate roof. The representative building of the post-Art Nouveau period of above-average quality is worth preserving for historical, architectural and urban planning reasons.
