The hawk's pulpit is located in front of the Frankenblick and a little below it. It can only be reached via a staircase, so it is not possible by mountain bike. Just as the hawk builds its nest in tall old trees, out of reach of enemies, this niche is literally clinging to the edge of the mountain. The name of the seat there was aptly chosen: Himmelsbank - so close to heaven. The view from here is phenomenal and stretches as far as the Rhön or the Steigerwald, assuming good conditions.
