The seven star is the symbol of the Fichtelgebirge. The region's flagship plant blooms from May to June. The delicate, lime-avoiding plant can be found in coniferous forests, in the acidic deciduous forests, moor edges, heaths and poor grasslands of the Fichtelgebirge. The plant is endangered in Bavaria, but fortunately not in the Fichtelgebirge.
In the logo of the Fichtelgebirgsverein (FGV) with its own magazine “Siebenstern”, this plant is represented as a representative of the rich vegetation of the low mountain range.

Beautifully designed stone with the seven-petalled type of primrose, which can still be found very often in the Fichtelgebirge. The "Siebenstern" is also the logo of the Fichtelgebirge Association and a symbol for the diverse vegetation of the Fichtelgebirge. Next to it is a well-made display board with an explanation of the "seven star".

The seven star is the symbolic plant of the High Fens and the Fichtelgebirge; the magazine Der Siebenstern of the Fichtelgebirge Association is named after him.
