Nice little place, with great restaurants and boat rentals. The small beach invites to a refreshment.

The first written mention of the area took place in the 8th century. In the 12th century, the name Fuschilsee was first found in a document, also the first goods were mentioned in the Ellmau.
The castle Wartenfels was built in the 13th century, at the same time higher estates are evidenced in Ellmau and Brunn. The village of Fuschl was built in the 15th century, and the cross pillar was also erected in the lacquers.
A first road to Hof on the south side of the lake was created in the 16th century. In addition, the castle Fuschl was first mentioned and the Taferne to Brunn demonstrated in a certificate.
