The climb from the Zufrittsee via the Schaubachhütte, which is not far from the mountain station of the Sulden cable cars, takes about two hours. From the end of the road in the rear Martelltal valley, you can reach the Hintere Schöntaufspitze in just under three hours. From the summit you have a view of the Königspitze, Monte Zebrù and Ortler as well as the Cevedale massif and the surrounding mountains above the Suldental and Martelltal valleys. Walking time from the Zufritthütte including descent is about 8-9 hours.
