The foundation walls of the hall church were built of brick in the 15th or 16th century. The transverse rectangular chancel with surrounding console frieze is younger. In the second half of the 19th century, the building underwent a major overhaul, and the chancel received its three-sided closure. At the same time, the square western tower was built and the bridal gate laid out. The sacristy was probably only renewed. The tower has side extensions and a wooden top with an open lantern. Stepped buttresses support the chancel and nave. The windows have two lanes with a large vertex oculus.
