The Frankenhausen women's choir had the great idea of creating a "sounding hiking trail" on the Kyffhäuser. Supported by the district's economic development agency, the Kur- und Touristik GmbH and the tourism association, suitable locations were sought where the eight boards with the texts of hiking and local songs could be set up. In June 2016, the "sounding hiking trail" was opened during the "120 Years of the Kyffhäuser Monument" celebrations.
