Great highlight, but only one of 10 pictures shows the Latemar massif. Now some have been added. Regarding Latemar, I can recommend crossing the Latemar (done with my daughter at the age of 14). From Obereggen up with the Oberholz cable car. Then to the Gamsstallscharte, then on the normal hiking trail (no via ferrata) to the Latemarspitze and then east of the Signalkopf to the Karerpass. Everything possible without climbing. We were picked up there.

According to the Eggental Tourismus, the Latemar massif is not very well developed for tourism. Its highest point is the Diamantiditurm at over 2,842 meters. From this point you have a great view of the massif.

The Latemarstock rises in the western Dolomites, where the group forms the border between South Tyrol in the northwest and Trentino in the southeast. The highest mountains are in the northern ridge, which drops to the north with steep rock faces to the Latemar forest and the Karersee. The highest point is the Great Latemar Tower at 2842 m.
