The detour to Franz-Josefs Höhe above the Pasterzen glacier is a real highlight! The route is perfect to ride and the ascent at the foot of the Grossglockner over the tongue of the glacier is a great uphill ride. Even though the ice is many meters lower today than it was 25 years ago, the view has lost nothing of its fascination.
