This railway segment and its surroundings are home to several species of reptiles, in particular the coronella snake (Coronella austriaca) and the stump lizard (Lacerta agilis). In a wasteland adjoining the level crossing, there remains somehow a small dry lawn where the solitary summer bee Dasypoda hirtipes breeds.
