Thursday afternoon after Totensonntag the tree shines in the Christmas season.
It was 10 years old when it was planted in 1874, it has been a nature reserve since 1926 and has been decorated for Christmas ever since.
The crown diameter is 17m, the trunk circumference is 1.3m. Height 4.98m (figures from 2020).
